Maria C's nglish 2012-2013: Traveling West.

If I were to travel anywhere west in the United Sates, I would like to go to Laguna Beach, California. There are many nice places in the United States to visit, but I like beaches the best. While I was there I would take surfing lessons, because I have never surfed before and would like to learn how to. Skim boarding is also offered and something I would possibly try. Also, I would like to go on the dolphin and whale watch. I always have been interested in marine life, and to see animals up that close would be really cool to do. Also, the Pacific Marine Mammal Center offers you to be able to see marine life up close, which is something that would also interest me. Lastly, while I was there I would want to do the hike through Laguna Beach’s wilderness park. As stated, there is a wide variety of animals that can be seen along this hike. To get there from Maryland, you can either drive or fly. I would fly because it only takes 5 hours to get there if you go out of BWI airport, where as if you drove it would take about two days or more because of the necessary stops you would have to make along the way. To go from Baltimore to California during the month of July for a week, the airfare would cost about $188 both ways for one person on a Southwest flight. The weather in California is hot year round. Even when it is raining, the temperatures don’t really get cold, just a little colder. Right now the temperature is 59 degrees but the rest of the week it gets a little hotter.
